DBS Checks in residential schools for non-school staff

The National Boarding Schools Standards 2015 says that non-school staff over the age of 16 who live on the school premises must have an Enhanced DBS check and a Barred List check. (see Standard 14.2)

In addition, Standard 14.3 adds that there should be a 'written agreement between the school and any person over 16 not employed by the school but living in the same premises as children (for example, members of staff households).'
